I tend to be more of a fall and winter kind of girl, but I’m usually ready for the next season when it comes around. This year, I’m excited about spring for one reason in particular: my knit list. There are several projects I’m eager to complete as part of my #52weeksofknits resolution.

Read on to see what’s on my list!

First up are these gorgeous Quick & Easy Cacti by Lucille Randall. My Nana, Mom & sister got the green thumbs in the family. Me? I can’t keep a plant alive to save me. Fortunately, these little guys brighten up a room like the real thing, but it’s impossible to kill them! If you can’t find me, I’m looking for green yarn & tiny terracotta pots.

I purchased this chunky knit pouf pattern a while back and am determined to make one in every size! These are so versatile – they can be made in any color to fit your décor, and in several sizes, from small (for pillows) to giant (for a big, chunky ottoman or extra seat). Made with 4 strands of super bulky yarn held together (!!!) this is sure to be a quick & satisfying knit.

Range by Andrea Mowry is an exquisite shawl that incorporates tons of texture, including brioche. I just learned brioche, and can’t wait to incorporate it into another piece. I think I’ll go for similar neutrals so it goes with any outfit.

I’m also eyeing this Beach Top, a free pattern via Let’s Knit. Whether or not I wear it to the beach is debatable, but I think it’ll be a great transition piece while the weather is warming up. I really enjoy how fast slip stitch pieces knit up, and this looks like no exception.

beachFinally, I’m obsessed these Farm Slippers, also by Andrea Mowry (seriously, can I just knit everything she designs?!). Now that I’ve conquered my first pair of socks, these don’t feel so daunting. The pattern includes several sizes, so I may just have to make a pair for everyone I know.
